Picking Up Your Kit Car at Factory Five

Picking up your kit car at our Wareham, MA facility is free of charge and eliminates crating fees. Kit completion dates are typically scheduled for Saturdays. We can also arrange weekday pick-ups (Monday-Friday) following the completion date.

Shipping Your Kit Car via Commercial Freight

We can ship your kit car in a custom-built crate via a commercial carrier of your choice (Yellow, ABF, etc.). The crate measures 16’ long x 52” tall x 6’6” wide and weighs 1650 lbs.

It’s constructed with a robust 4” x 4” lumber base, ¾” tongue-in-groove plywood floor and top, and 2” x 4” reinforced 3/8” sheet plywood sides. Forklift or pallet jack access is available from the front or rear. While there’s a crating fee, the crate’s strength and quality justify the cost.
