Shipping Your Car Kit with Stewart Transport
Many customers choose Stewart Transport (602-242-1800) for a hassle-free delivery experience. Collin Stewart and his team specialize in transporting Factory Five car kits nationwide. They offer a flat rate for door-to-door delivery, picking up your kit directly from our dock and delivering it right to your driveway. Stewart Transport utilizes dedicated trucks equipped with electric cranes, eliminating the need for crating your kit, simplifying the process considerably.
Picking Up Your Car Kit at Factory Five
Picking up your car kit directly from our Wareham, MA facility is another option. There are no fees associated with on-site pick-up. Kit completion dates are typically scheduled for Saturdays. We can also arrange for pick-up on weekdays (Monday-Friday) following the completion date. By picking up your kit, you’ll also save on crating costs.
Before your scheduled pick-up, confirm the date with our staff and review the trailer dimensions to ensure a smooth process. We have extensive experience coordinating kit pick-ups and are here to assist you. Please inform us of any changes to your pick-up plans.
Commercial Freight Shipping for Your Car Kit
If you prefer using a commercial freight carrier, we can ship your car kit in a custom-built crate. We collaborate with major freight carriers like Yellow and ABF. The crate dimensions are 16′ long x 52″ tall x 6’6″ wide, weighing approximately 1650 lbs.
Our robust crates are constructed with a 4″ x 4″ lumber base, ¾” tongue-and-groove plywood floor, 2″ x 4″ reinforced ¾” sheet plywood sides, and a ¾” tongue-and-groove plywood top. Forklift or pallet jack access is available from both the front and rear. While there is a crating fee, the crate’s durability and construction ensure your kit’s safe arrival.
