Furthermore, understanding the units of measurement within Car Scanner Pro can be crucial for accurate data interpretation. Two data points, “Additional consumers” and “HV Auxiliary consumer power,” appear to track the same metric. When both are set to the same unit (e.g., horsepower or kilowatts), they display identical values. However, when set to different units, the displayed values reflect the correct conversion ratio (0.746 kW per HP). This understanding helps in standardizing units across various measurements, such as expressing power consumption in kilowatts.
A challenge arises when attempting to calculate total power consumption. While the app provides data for battery consumption and additional consumers, it lacks a dedicated metric for motor power. Although motor current and voltage are available, the app doesn’t automatically calculate their product to determine power output.
